In collaboration with Pax Christi Flanders, we, the Capuchin Friars Minor - International Solidarity (KaVIS), cordially invite you to a heart-warming and unique Peace Concert with the famous singer Ingeborg and the vibrant, energetic youth choir 'Fioretti' from Bruges. The natural talent Tom Van de Venne will also be present. It promises to be a heart-warming happening for young and old.
We like to open the doors of our church to make a call for peace through the dynamic power of music. In so many other places in the world but especially with the current war between Ukraine and Russia, we want to not only call for peace but very concretely continue to support these peace projects.
KaVIS and Pax Christi have been involved in projects of humanitarian aid, reconciliation and psychological assistance on the eastern borders of Ukraine since the outbreak of the war. Specifically, support will go to a project of single mothers and orphans in the conflict (war) zone and to a dialogue project involving Russians and Ukrainians from both sides of the border.
The purchase of the entrance ticket will go integrally to these peace projects.
In the concert you will not only enjoy atmospheric and beautiful songs, but you will also be invited to sing along from time to time. Singing together connects and in this way your voice also contributes concretely to this peace work.
